Here's a shoutout to all my athletic (and not) babes! How hard is it to find amazingly comfortable, breathable athletic wear that's still actually flattering and cute? Real hard, right? Well look no further because I found your new best friend. Albion Fit is a Salt Lake based athletic boutique with high-quality, high-cuteness athletic wear and swimsuits(their swim is also amazing).

Their line is filled with fun colors, flattering fits, and amazingly soft, breathable fabric!

My new never-take-it-off item happens to be the Go Long Crew. It's soft, comfortable, stretchy and the fabric feels like a minty blue kitten. It comes in a variety of beautiful, feminine colors and it is absolutely perfect for yoga, dance, running... Whatever you're into! It's lightweight enough for the spring but the soft long-sleeves make it versatile for running on chilly mornings. Plus, it has thumb-holes. That's the selling point for me right there. I love thumb-holes.

Now here's the best part, I'm doing a GIVEAWAY of not one, but two of these amazing crew necks (for you and a friend) right this second on my instagram page. Head over and check out the super simple entry details. Trust me. Weather you're rock climbing in the canyon or doing dancing in a secret garden like me, or sitting on your couch watching netflix and drinking tea (also like me) this crew is an essential for your closet! Check it out!

can we talk about VINTED?

Sunday, March 22, 2015

Alright. So I decided for my first official post I would talk about something I've grown to love a whole lot.. which just so happens to be an app. (No it's not instagram).

Vinted is an app/website where you can buy, sell, or swap your unwanted clothes- new and old. Obviously it's one of many apps like this, but I've tried a few and I really love the way Vinted is run. Plus, I find the best stuff on there.

When I first started Vinted (about a year ago) I mostly just was planning on selling a few things I didn't want and making a few quick bucks. But then I ended up really making a business out of it. Plus, I found some amazing deals for clothes I love! It's so easy. All you do is:

1. Post a picture of what you want to sell (good quality pictures will get you much further. Don't lay it on the floor or take it in bad lighting. Even if it's a nice item no one will be able to tell, so what's the point?)

2. Set a FAIR price (sorry, but you probably won't make the money back that you spent on it. It's meant to be like an online thrift store. So be reasonable.)

3. Ship it out! Vinted covers the costs for shipping and you get your money as soon as the buyer confirms. It's so easy!

I've made over $700 in just the last three months and I can honestly say I don't miss a thing I sold. And I ended up refilling a little bit of my newly-depleted wardrobe.

So seriously, go for it. It's definitely an awesome way to "work from home".

Here's a few of my latest and greatest Vinted finds.

This is a thin, rainbow-sparkle sweater from Madewell. Bought this baby for $4. No lies. It's SO cute and comfortable. Paired it with a couple other favorites from Madewell as well (bracelet, necklace, white shirt. The hat is from Pacsun!)

One of my favorites-- this great vintage flannel dress. Super cute and fits me perfectly. $14.

THESE. SHOES. Dolce Vita gold-embroidered boots. Never worn. $20. I know. I couldn't believe it either.

Anthropologie peasant-style skirt. Brand new and so vintage-chic. I'm in love. $20.

I also got some gold druzy earrings and running clothes including a Nike jacket for only $18 bucks. Do you see why I needed to share my excitement about this place? I'm addicted. So download it at your own risk!

If you want to shop my closet, follow me on Vinted at: autumnnicole85

Tell me about your greatest Vinted treasures!

It's here. It's actually happening.

(photo from tumblr)

You guys. Do you see this? This thing you're reading right now? This is a blog. MY blog. I have been talking about starting this thing for a hundred years and now the time has finally come.

If you're here looking for some specific kind of blog then you are probably in the wrong place. There is nothing specific about this blog. I want to be EVERYTHING. I want to be a photographer, a counselor, a poet, a fashion stylist, a sponsor, a brag-about-my-lifer, an i-hate-everything-right-now-er.

You are going to get it all. And if you have a one track mind, I'm sorry. Avert your eyes.

So here's to a new beginning. A new blogg-ining. Yep.

Lot's of funsies coming up real soon. I have a few photoshoots to post. Some awesome companies to feature. A million and one beauty tips. Even some free stuff to giveaway. Tell your friends.

I am so excited for this and to see where it takes me. I know it's a big scary world out there when it comes to blogging, and who knows if I'll even make a ripple in the ocean, but who cares. I'm doing this for me and for you (whoever you are) who have decided to embark on this journey with me.

Well yay! Here goes nothing.
